Brook Lapping for BBC WW/NHK/Arte/C5, 1 x 90"/45"
Dir: Lucy Van Beek, 2015

On August 6, 1945, the US bomber Enola Gay carried out a raid on the Japanese city of Hiroshima that changed the world and contemporary warfare when it became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb. This documentary looks at what happened to the survivors of an attack that killed more than 100,000 people, examining how they overcame the devastation without accommodation, food, water or outside help.

The 45" version is also known as "Hiroshima: The aftermath"
